Rhode Island H8016 allows Johnston to receive credit for affordable housing units for manufactured homes in age-restricted communities.

Rhode Island H8016 amends the Rhode Island Housing Resources Act of 1998 to allow the town of Johnston to receive a one-half credit for affordable housing units for manufactured homes in age-restricted communities. This credit applies if the manufactured homes are located in communities requiring residents to be at least fifty-five years old and comply with the town's zoning, land development, and subdivision ordinances. The bill takes effect upon passage.
