Rhode Island H7989 amends the General Laws to exempt certain vehicles from the requirement to display a front registration plate. Specifically, vehicles not manufactured with a front plate bracket are not required to display a front plate. Instead, these vehicles must comply with the law by attaching the registration plate to the rear of the vehicle. This change takes effect upon passage of the act.
