Establishes a special legislative commission to study blockchain and cryptocurrency and recommend legislative proposals.

The bill creates a five-member special legislative commission to study blockchain and cryptocurrency. The commission will review data, determine the current status of blockchain and cryptocurrency, and recommend legislative proposals to foster a positive economic environment and appropriate consumer protections. The commission will submit an interim progress report by January 5, 2027, and a final report by January 5, 2028, and will expire on February 5, 2028.
