Rhode Island H7916 allows individuals to collect wild mushrooms from state-controlled lands for personal use.

Rhode Island H7916 amends the General Laws to permit the collection of wild mushrooms from state parks, recreational areas, and forests for personal use. The Department of Environmental Management (DEM) will establish rules and regulations governing this activity. The state will not be liable for any injuries or damages resulting from mushroom collection. The act takes effect immediately upon passage.
