Rhode Island H7901 requires all school districts to designate a certified athletic trainer at each high school within its district. This bill aims to ensure that each high school has access to trained professionals who can manage and evaluate concussions and head injuries among student athletes. The act also mandates baseline neuropsychological testing for student athletes and requires parents and guardians to acknowledge receipt of concussion risk information.
