Rhode Island H7885 mandates electric distribution companies to visually illustrate each component of a utility bill and its associated costs.

Rhode Island H7885 amends the regulatory powers of administration to require electric distribution companies to include a visual illustration on utility bills. This illustration must show each component of the bill and the cost associated with each component. The Division of Public Utilities (DPUC) has the authority to approve or deny the format of this display. The bill takes effect upon passage.
