Rhode Island H7728 amends the General Laws to allow the Rhode Island Council on Elementary and Secondary Education to issue emergency preliminary teaching certificates for up to five school years. These certificates can be renewed annually for four additional years. This change applies to all renewals and takes effect upon passage.
