The Rhode Island House of Representatives expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Mary Magavern Worrell, a devoted wife, mother, and community servant. Mary was a talented landscape architect who worked to create enduring spaces of beauty and nature. She served with love and dedication at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church and on the Boards of the Swan Point Cemetery and the Southside Community Land Trust. She was the first woman to serve on the Agawam Hunt’s Board of Governors in 1984. She leaves behind her husband, Rick, her children, grandchildren, and many friends and family.
