Rhode Island H7667 requires signs with contact information for the National Human Trafficking Resource Center to be posted at certain establishments, including strip clubs, job-recruitment centers, hospitals, and emergency-care providers. The signs must be in English and Spanish, at least 8 ½ inches by 11 inches, and printed in 16-point type. Employers must display these signs in a clearly conspicuous place. The Department of Labor and Training will impose a $300 fine per violation for failure to comply. This act takes effect upon passage.
