Rhode Island H7653 mandates that law enforcement agencies electronically file domestic violence/sexual assault reporting forms and submit them monthly. The bill enhances the information to be included on the reporting forms, such as the names and relationship of the parties, the date and time of the incident, and whether children were involved. The reporting forms should be submitted monthly, or as soon as practicable upon receipt of all relevant information regarding an incident subject to reporting. This act would take effect upon passage.
