Rhode Island H7629 amends the current law on health insurance coverage for fertility diagnostic care, standard fertility preservation services, and fertility treatment. It requires coverage for any medically necessary ovulation-enhancing drugs and medical services. The bill prohibits insurers from imposing certain limitations on coverage for infertility, including deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, benefit maximums, waiting periods, or any other limitations different from those imposed on benefits for services not related to infertility.
