Rhode Island H7541 mandates renewable energy use for major hospitals constructed or renovated after 2028.

Rhode Island H7541 requires all major hospitals constructed or substantially renovated or expanded on or after January 1, 2028, to use renewable energy sources for power. The building code standards committee will establish rules and regulations to implement these requirements. This act takes effect upon passage.
