Rhode Island H7493 allows breweries to directly sell malt beverages to retailers without using a wholesaler and permits an additional retail location.

Rhode Island H7493 amends the state's manufacturing and wholesale licenses to allow breweries to sell, transport, deliver, and distribute their own malt beverages directly to retailers without using a wholesaler. Breweries can also have one additional location for the retail sale of alcohol. Breweries must comply with alcohol server training and liquor liability insurance requirements. The bill takes effect upon passage.
