The House Resolution expresses deepest condolences on the passing of Raymond J. Turbitt, a distinguished educator who taught mathematics in Warwick Public Schools and Bryant University. Turbitt was also a member of the Rhode Island Marine Archaeology Project, contributing to the search for the HMS Gaspee. He was a lifelong member of the Gaspee Home-Owners Association and enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and basketball.
