Rhode Island H7398 amends the Rhode Island Tax Amnesty Act of 2017 to allow the tax administrator to waive interest and penalties on unpaid delinquent taxes during a one-week amnesty period. The tax administrator determines the period each fiscal year and provides forms for tax payments. The bill also reinstates driver’s licenses suspended due to nonpayment of taxes upon full payment. This act takes effect upon passage.
