Rhode Island H7346 amends the state's insurance laws to prohibit insurance companies from paying rates that are less than the approved Medicaid rate set by the executive office of health and human services. This bill applies to insurance companies that merge with, acquire ownership or control of, or otherwise gain control over nonprofit hospital service corporations, nonprofit medical service corporations, or health maintenance organizations.
