Rhode Island H7298 amends the General Laws to allow the town of Tiverton to apply different tax rates to various classes of property. The town's assessor must prepare an annual list of property valuations and tax rates. Property classes include residential real estate, commercial and industrial real estate, tangible personal property, motor vehicles, and mobile homes. The act takes effect upon passage.
