Rhode Island Family Caregiver Tax Credit Act establishes a tax credit for eligible family caregivers.

The Rhode Island Family Caregiver Tax Credit Act establishes a tax credit against income tax for eligible expenditures incurred by a family caregiver for the care and support of an eligible family member. The credit is available to family caregivers who meet certain income and residency requirements. Eligible expenditures include expenses related to the improvement or alteration of the caregiver's or family member's residence, purchase or lease of equipment, hiring a home care aide, and other care-related expenses.
