Rhode Island H7041 amends the General Laws to maintain existing contractual provisions in firefighters' collective bargaining agreements until a new agreement is reached or an arbitration award is rendered. This law requires that unless a party proposes a change in writing within 30 days, all contractual provisions will continue. The act takes effect immediately upon passage.
