Extends existing collective bargaining agreement for municipal police arbitration until a new agreement is reached or an arbitration award is.
This bill amends the General Laws to extend the provisions of a collective bargaining agreement for municipal police arbitration purposes. The existing contractual provisions will remain in effect unless either party proposes a change within a specified period. The extension will continue until a new agreement is reached or an interest arbitration award is rendered. This act takes effect immediately upon passage.
