Rhode Island H7021 requires commercial property owners to install vehicle barriers at retail establishments when new construction or renovations are done. The barriers must be installed at entrances adjacent to parking lots or drive lanes, and at ground-floor buildings with vehicle access within ten feet of the entrance. Insurers are permitted to offer a discount on the owner's insurance policy for the installation of these barriers.
