“We will freeze the gas tax, since the road and construction funds are well funded with over $7 billion in reserves. We will cap the sales tax on gas so spikes in gas prices don’t mean soaring taxes.”
Children & Families
“We will also make it a top priority to fix DCFS, which is failing our most vulnerable kids under JB Pritzker. Under the state’s care, more than 1,200 of our most vulnerable children have died and 3,000 seriously injured since 2018. We will bring accountability, competent management, and urgent action to the system.”
Energy & Utilities
“We will pause all tax incentives for data centers until strict regulations are put in place that ensure data centers pay all their energy costs, limit water usage, and contribute to a property tax relief fund for Illinoisans.”

“In our first year, we will freeze discretionary spending and put in place transparent accountability standards that measure the impact of our tax dollars. Programs that improve people’s lives will be strengthened. Programs that don’t, especially temporary programs added during COVID, will be fixed or phased out.”

“We will reform the Certificate of Need (CON) process and address market consolidation, which is stifling competition and artificially increasing medical prices for Illinoisans. We will reduce state mandates on insurance that increase health insurance premiums without meaningfully improving benefits.”
