The government holds the investigative files on Jeffrey Epstein's trafficking of children: who paid, who flew, who knew, and which prosecutors decided back in 2008 that a plea deal was enough. Every release so far has landed late, partial, and with the redactions falling in suspiciously convenient places. The survivors have spent two decades being told to wait while the people they named kept their board seats and their reputations. There is exactly one legitimate reason to withhold any of this, and that is protecting victims who never chose to be in it; every other black box is someone being shielded who shouldn't be. Force the full release of the Epstein files with victim-identifying information redacted and nothing else, and open an independent review of how the 2008 deal was allowed to happen.
Childhood vaccine schedules used to be set the boring way: an outside committee of specialists, meeting in public, screened for conflicts, leaving a paper trail anyone could read. That committee was fired and replaced by appointment, and the schedule is now being rewritten by executive order, not because new evidence arrived, but because one official decided. Pediatricians are fielding questions they can't answer about whether a shot will still be covered next month, and measles is back in places that hadn't seen a case in a generation. This is what it looks like when a decision that belongs to evidence gets handed to a person. Restore an independent, public, conflict-screened vaccine advisory process, keep the schedule with the science rather than the appointee, and guarantee every recommended vaccine stays free at the point of care.
On September 15, Rep. Thomas Massie filed eight articles of impeachment against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and the House can be forced to vote on them. The Constitution gives Congress, not the executive branch, the power to take the country to war, and it gives the House the power to remove officials who ignore that limit. Keeping American forces in combat in Iran without authorization from Congress is exactly the kind of abuse impeachment exists to answer. Impeachment is not a criminal trial. It is how Congress enforces the oath every official swears to the Constitution. Vote to impeach and remove him.
