This resolution designates the weekend of February 20 through 22, 2026, as "THON Weekend" in Pennsylvania to honor the work of The Pennsylvania State University IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon student volunteers. THON, the largest student-run philanthropy event in the world, provides emotional and financial support, raises awareness, and funds critical research for pediatric cancer. Since its inception, THON has supported over 4,800 children and families affected by childhood cancer and has raised more than $254 million.
