Pennsylvania Senate Resolution 151 honors Corporal Glenn Hodak's service and memory. Corporal Hodak enlisted in the United States Army Air Forces, serving in World War II and achieving the rank of corporal. He was a member of the 93rd Bombardment Squadron, 19th Bombardment Group, flying in a B-29 Superfortress Bomber nicknamed the "Tall in the Saddle." Hodak was a tail gunner during the Great Tokyo Air Raid on March 10, 1945. He and his crew were shot down and became prisoners of war, perishing in the May 1945 Tokyo Prison Fire.
