Introduced Text

Pennsylvania SB985 amends the Liquor Code to allow distributors and importing distributors with ready-to-drink cocktail permits to sell these.

Pennsylvania SB985 amends the Liquor Code to allow distributors and importing distributors holding a ready-to-drink cocktail permit to sell these cocktails in any quantity. It also exempts them from certain restrictions that would otherwise prohibit them from selling, storing, possessing, or interacting with liquor. Distributors and importing distributors with such permits can sell ready-to-drink cocktails to other permit holders and licensees, and they can purchase these cocktails directly from licensed Pennsylvania manufacturers or other distributors for off-premises consumption.
