Pennsylvania SB958 amends the Liquor Code to expand the list of entities eligible for wine and spirits auction permits.

Pennsylvania SB958 amends the Liquor Code to expand the list of entities eligible for wine and spirits auction permits. The bill allows permits for nonprofit hospitals, public television stations, orchestras, museums, and other nonprofit organizations. It also includes organizations dedicated to Type 1 Diabetes research, cancer, and emergency response. The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board will issue permits for up to four days per year, upon payment of a $30 fee per day. The changes will take effect in 60 days.
