The Artificial Intelligence and Data Center Act establishes the Office of Transformation and Opportunity within the Governor's Office to facilitate economic development projects. The Office will coordinate with state agencies to expedite permits and approvals for high-impact data centers and other economic development projects. The Act also establishes the Artificial Intelligence, Data Center and Emerging Technology Regulatory Sandbox Program, which allows companies to test innovative products or services in Pennsylvania without needing certain licenses or authorizations.
