Pennsylvania SB923 exempts records of volunteer EMS, fire, and rescue companies from public access under the Right-to-Know Law.

Pennsylvania SB923 amends Title 35 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to exempt records of volunteer EMS companies, volunteer fire companies, volunteer rescue companies, and volunteer firefighters' relief associations from access under the Right-to-Know Law. This exemption does not apply to volunteer EMS, fire, or rescue companies that contract with a Commonwealth or local agency. The act will take effect 60 days after enactment.
