Pennsylvania Home Preservation Act establishes a grant program for local governments to improve existing housing stock.

The Pennsylvania Home Preservation Act establishes the Pennsylvania Home Preservation Grant Program within the Department of Community and Economic Development. This program provides grants to local governments to improve existing housing stock. Eligible applicants must be local governments or combinations thereof with experience in restoring or rehabilitating housing. Grants are limited to $50,000 per unit owner and must address habitability, improve energy or water efficiency, or make units accessible.
