Pennsylvania SB816 mandates annual parent education on eating disorders for students in grades 6-12.

Pennsylvania SB816 requires each school entity to annually provide parents and guardians with educational information about eating disorders for students in grades 6 through 12. This information must be delivered via email, first-class mail, or the school entity's publicly accessible internet website. The Department of Education, in collaboration with the Department of Health, will establish an Eating Disorders Task Force to develop and implement guidelines for this educational information.
