Introduced·6/4/25

Pennsylvania establishes a matching funds program to provide technology grants to small businesses that have received federal SBIR or STTR Phase I.

The Pennsylvania SBIR/STTR Matching Funds Program Act establishes a program to provide grants to small businesses in Pennsylvania that have received federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase I awards. The grants match the funds received from the federal awards, up to a maximum of $50,000. Seventy-five percent of the grant is paid upon receipt of the federal Phase I award, and the remaining 25 percent is paid upon submission of the Phase II application to the Small Business Administration.
