Pennsylvania SB778 amends the Tax Reform Code to set a schedule for approving city revitalization and improvement zones.

Pennsylvania SB778 amends the Tax Reform Code of 1971 to establish a schedule for the approval of city revitalization and improvement zones. Initially, the Department of Community and Economic Development can approve applications for two zones and one pilot zone. Starting in 2028, the department will approve applications for two additional zones each year. This act aims to streamline the approval process for revitalizing urban areas.
