Pennsylvania SB734 provides for the America250PA Semiquincentennial Celebration Bell monument on the State Capitol grounds. The monument, designed by the America250PA Commission, commemorates the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Pennsylvania's integral role, and the impact of its people. The Department of General Services will prepare the designated location, oversee the monument's construction, and maintain it in perpetuity. The monument will be placed on the concourse level, between the fountain and the entrance to the East Wing.
