Pennsylvania SB72 amends the Construction Workplace Misclassification Act by adding definitions, enhancing penalties for improper employee classification, and providing a private right of action for affected employees. The bill also establishes a toll-free hotline for reporting violations and mandates that penalties collected be deposited into the Workers' Compensation Administration Fund and the Special Revenue Account. It allows for debarment of contractors and subcontractors for violations and provides for the availability of information regarding the act.
