Establishes the Nonnarcotic Medication Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program in Pennsylvania.

The bill establishes the Nonnarcotic Medication Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program within the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs. It allows courts to order assessments for offenders charged with drug-related offenses to determine if nonnarcotic medication-assisted treatment is appropriate. Single county authorities can apply for grants to contract with eligible providers for treatment. The program includes assessment, individualized treatment plans, and administration of FDA-approved nonnarcotic medications.
