Pennsylvania SB658 amends the Pennsylvania Election Code to update the requirements for affidavits of candidates and nominations by political bodies. Each candidate must file an affidavit stating their residence, election district, eligibility for the office, and compliance with election laws. The bill also imposes limitations on candidates who are registered members of a party from being nominated by political bodies in certain elections. The changes apply to elections held at least 90 days after the effective date of the bill.
