Pennsylvania Senate Bill 646 establishes the Survivor-Centered, Accessible, Fair and Empowering Housing Trust Fund. The fund aims to provide emergency, transitional, and permanent housing to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, human trafficking, and stalking, as well as their immediate family members. Revenue sources include a $10 surcharge on each filing of a deed or mortgage, a $5 contribution from individuals renewing driver's licenses or vehicle registrations, and an initial transfer of $1,000,000 from the General Fund.
