Pennsylvania SB624 amends the Solid Waste Management Act to prohibit the application or distribution of food processing residuals on land.

Pennsylvania SB624 amends the Solid Waste Management Act to prohibit the application or distribution of food processing residuals on land. Food processing residuals include animal and vegetative waste from food processing. The bill allows exceptions for disposal at solid waste landfills and certain other uses. The act takes effect 60 days after enactment.
