Complete·7/12/26
Introduced Text

Pennsylvania authorizes joining the Counseling Compact to facilitate interstate practice for licensed professional counselors.

The bill authorizes Pennsylvania to join the Counseling Compact, a multistate agreement to streamline the licensure process for professional counselors practicing across state lines. The Compact aims to enhance public access to counseling services, support relocating military personnel and their spouses, and facilitate the exchange of licensure and disciplinary information among states. Licensed professional counselors holding a valid license in their home state can obtain a privilege to practice in other Compact states via telehealth.
