Pennsylvania SB601 would allow ivermectin to be sold as an over-the-counter medication without a prescription or consultation with a health care.

Pennsylvania SB601 amends the Pharmacy Act to allow ivermectin suitable for human use to be sold or purchased as an over-the-counter medication without a prescription or consultation with a health care professional. The act defines "over-the-counter medication" as medication that may be legally sold and purchased without a prescription. This change would take effect 60 days after the act is passed.
