Pennsylvania SB595 amends Title 5 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to require promoters and arena operators to employ a physician or certified registered nurse practitioner for every professional wrestling contest or exhibition. This medical professional must be present to observe the physical condition of the participants and can terminate the event if severe injury is likely. The practitioner's fee is to be paid by the promoter. The act will take effect in 60 days.
