Pennsylvania SB545 amends the Minimum Wage Act of 1968 to exempt minor league baseball players who are compensated under a collective bargaining agreement from minimum wage and overtime provisions. The bill requires employers to maintain records of employee hours and wages, and to provide these records to the Department of Labor and Industry upon request. Employers must also keep summaries of the act and related regulations accessible to employees and provide copies to authorized representatives without charge. The act takes effect in 60 days.
