Chamber Passed·6/23/25

Pennsylvania SB468 allows the Department of Transportation to negotiate interstate agreements for unmanned aircraft systems research and deployment.

Pennsylvania SB468 amends Title 74 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to allow the Department of Transportation to negotiate interstate agreements for the research, testing, deployment, training, or education of unmanned aircraft systems. These agreements can be with agencies or educational partners recognized by the Federal Aviation Administration. The Governor must approve these agreements, which then become effective.
