Pennsylvania SB434 repeals laws that void same-sex marriages performed in other jurisdictions.

Pennsylvania SB434 repeals provisions in Title 23 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes that declared marriage to be between one man and one woman and voided same-sex marriages performed in other states or countries. This change means that same-sex marriages recognized elsewhere will not be considered void in Pennsylvania. The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
