Pennsylvania SB37 amends Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to expand the list of offenses that prohibit the possession, use, manufacture, control, sale, or transfer of firearms. The bill adds offenses such as intimidation of witnesses or victims, retaliation against witnesses or judicial officials, disarming law enforcement officers, and various forms of assault and sexual offenses. The changes apply to offenses committed under Pennsylvania law or equivalent offenses in other states or under federal law. The act will take effect in 60 days.
