Pennsylvania SB358 amends the Pennsylvania Amber Alert System to include the Missing Endangered Person Advisory System and the Pennsylvania Green Alert System. The Pennsylvania State Police will establish and maintain these systems to assist in the recovery of abducted children, missing persons at special risk, and veterans at risk. The Pennsylvania Green Alert System will notify the public of missing veterans who are at risk due to physical or mental health issues. Good Samaritan immunity is provided for those assisting in locating these individuals. The act takes effect immediately.
