Pennsylvania SB342 provides up to six weeks of unpaid family and medical leave for eligible employees to care for certain relatives with terminal.

Pennsylvania SB342, known as the Pennsylvania Family and Medical Leave Act, allows eligible employees to take up to six weeks of unpaid leave to care for a sibling, grandparent, or grandchild with a terminal illness who lacks a living spouse, child over 17, or parent under 65. The leave is in addition to any leave under federal law for other family members. Employers must post a summary of the act and provide forms for medical certification and employee complaints.
