Pennsylvania SB326 amends the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act to ensure that state-level schedules of controlled substances align with federal law. If a substance is added to the federal schedules, the secretary must similarly schedule it under state law and notify the Legislative Reference Bureau. The secretary may reschedule substances to coincide with federal law if it does not adversely affect public health and safety.
