Pennsylvania SB309 amends the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act to allow municipalities to use third-party agencies for construction code enforcement. Municipalities can use one or more third-party agencies until January 1, 2026, and two or more agencies thereafter. The bill requires municipalities to file a certification form with the Department of Labor and Industry, which will maintain a list of participating municipalities.
